If you’ve ever wished for a go-to meatball recipe that comes together in minutes but tastes like it’s been simmering all day, this is it! These quick and easy homemade meatballs are so flavorful and perfectly tender every single time!
I truly think what makes a good meatball is the parmesan cheese! It takes them to the next level, adding a savory richness with just the right texture.

I have to confess, I never liked meatballs growing up. It wasn’t until I started cooking on my own and finding what I liked in both taste and texture, that I branched out and enjoyed eating meatballs.
And I’m proud to say that these are my family’s absolute favorite! I love to roll these small to go in our tomato soup. But I also love to shape them large to go with a big bowl of pasta. They turn out perfectly every time no matter what I cook them for!

And they are so quick to make! It’s a recipe that’s flexible, simple, and irresistible. Making this the perfect recipe for weeknights when you want something homemade and satisfying without spending more time in the kitchen.
These are one of those recipes you’ll find yourself coming back to again and again. They’re simplicity and flavor tastes like a labor of love when in reality you can whip them up in 20 minutes!
These are guaranteed to be a hit at your family’s table too, cause once you taste them, you’ll never go back to store bought!

Can I make these meatballs gluten free?
Absolutely! Simply substitute the breadcrumbs for almond flour or a gluten free breadcrumb. The flavor stays just as delicious.

Can I make them ahead of time?
Yes! You can mix and shape the meatballs a day in advance, refrigerate them on a cookie sheet and cook when you’re ready. Making dinner prep even more quick and easy!
Can I freeze these meatballs?
Definitely! This is a great option to cook these in bulk and pull out as needed. I recommend freezing them in balls on a parchment lined cookie sheet, spaced out where they don’t touch. Freeze completely then remove and place them frozen into a plastic bag. Reheat in soups or for a quick pasta or rice dinner!

What should I serve them with?
They’re amazing with spaghetti or marinara, nestled into a meatball sandwich, or just simmered in a cozy soup like our favorite tomato soup. I love to make small meatballs for soups and large meatballs for pasta–both are a family favorite!
